Just had another crazy weekend…..

FRIDAY 10PM – I start the weekend off with the first of my 2 shows on 1xtra, its all about the new sickness from Lil Wayne and Drake. Check out the show here.

SATURDAY 7PM – I hit up the Forum in Kentish Town to check out the final date of the Roots UK tour, it looks like they wont be back in the UK for a very long time.

SATURDAY 9PM – Questlove is one of the best musicians in the music business, the cornerstone of the Roots, and one of the most knowledgeable guys on the planet when it comes to HipHop. He has worked with all the great ones in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, etc.

Amongst other things, he discussed who he felt was going to own the HipHop game in 09′. Which new artist that will come through, and which O.G. is set to rule.
I’m not going to lie, even I was pretty surprised by his answers, seriously he might catch a bit of flack……..all will be revealed on Semtex TV this week, watch out for the full interview on 1xtra soon.

SATURDAY 11PM – Back at 1xtra I caught up with 2 of the most influential people in the game, they pretty much run New York; Miss Info and Green Lantern. Its crazy to see these two out here in the UK.
