Straight out of Kansas, XV is a rapper/producer who has been putting in the work for a minute. He sounds reminiscent of an early Common Sense or Lupe Fiasco, and like both of those MCs he has bars for days.

The 30 minute layover is his latest mixtape, and it is the prelude to the forth-coming ‘Vizzy Zone’ mixtape. Forget ‘Vizzy Zone’ for a minute. This is a tight body of work that needs to be on your hard drive. The concept alone is the story of my life right now.

YELAWOLF

It’s hard to believe that music this good is being given away. ‘Trunk Muzik’ is easily one of the best mixtapes you will hear over the next 12 months.

Yelawolf is a beast on the Mic, and the production is equally as tight. If you were a fan of ‘Stankonia’ by Outkast, if you could listen fast enough to Bone Thugs & Harmony and absorb their flows, your gonna love this.
