  • J COLE | LIVE FROM LONDON

J Cole passed through my show to talk on the forth-coming album and blessed the mic with Chipmunk.

In return, it was only right that we show J Cole around London. I took him to the main spots for trainers, garms and food (Nandos)!

He played me the new album, which is now called **** ***********.

The album is banging! If your a fan of the mixtape, you’re gonna love it. It’s illmatic X College Dropout X J. Cole.

It’s funny, in the clip above J said big up to his 5 UK fans, but he actually had a lot more than that, as he found out at the Wireless festival…..

Check out the footage after the jump

….and this was J Cole’s first show in the UK. A lot of people are saying it was the highlight of the day. Roy came through with the footage.

Big up G.Child who was holding it down on the decks for J Cole.

Looks like the ‘Warm Up’ copped a lot of downloads out here.

Jigga gets his Kanye on and reworks ‘A Star Is Born’ before he brings J Cole on stage.

J Cole at Wireless festival was an incredible performance!
He is intelligent and a musical genius.
If you don’t know now you know!

    5. Dan, July 5, 2010:

      J. Cole was the highlight of the whole day at Wireless, outshone Hov with his performance. Future legend.

    6. Clement Marfo, July 5, 2010:

      Semtex/Roy I Salute y’all!
I personally believe y’all behind breaking through hot talent such as the likes of Dizzee, Drake & now J.Cole to the British public. It’s like an artist must get y’all blessing first before branching out and you can simply see the respect from all the artists of how appreciative they are. It was here, right here I heard about J.Cole and look now… WOW! First London show… that’s crazy!
      I’m guessing next up is… Yelawolf… am I close… ;)

    7. Clement Marfo, July 5, 2010:

      Furthermore…
Kid Cudi, Wale, Asher Roth, B.O.B, Charles Hamilton… the list can go on…
      Nuff Respect

    8. admin, July 5, 2010:

      Could be close lol!

    9. Laidback, July 5, 2010:

Chipmunk was weaaak, Big mistake Sem now the US wil think we ain’t got nothing to offer.

LOL at Chipmunk reading is lyric off his phone on a sly when J Cole was on. He should have just read it all from his phone like Drake

    10. Admin, July 5, 2010:

nah, he was on his twitter, listen to the interview.

Don’t get it twisted, Chip was warming up, he was ready to go the distance.

    11. Jamie D, July 5, 2010:

IV WAITED FOR COLE TO GET ON YOUR SHOW for a while now and i was not disappointed but god damn i want that album title because the way hes talking the album sounds like it will be his college dropout.

I Think Chip Should not have played his flow cool and went all out- and with that said im glad when chip does theses types of things. forget his singles and album- when he wants to be lyrical he can be.

    12. Heraldo, July 6, 2010:

I’m glad London finally know’s of j.cole, he’s been making wave for the past few years now in the states.
IF THERE IS ONE OTHER ARTISTS I RECOMMEND, IT’S BLU, YES BLU. GOOGLE HIM, HE’S NICER THAN ASHER ROTH, DRAKE (lol drake is wack anyway), CHARLES HAMILTON, WALE AND ALL THEM PUT TOGETHER.
      CHECK OUT PHONTE TOO.

    13. Ed, July 6, 2010:

I agree with Laidback, if your gonna go back to back with a future great like J.Cole you gotta come hard. When i saw Chip and J.Cole’s name saying they was on radio together i got excited for Chip, but he lacked hard.
You shoulda got Wretch to come through he woulda held it up for TeamUK

    14. Chanel, July 10, 2010:

      Awesome!
If it werent for Jay Z, this guy would have deaded the wireless festival! He was the best out there until Hov arrived! Cant wait for that album!!

    15. jay, July 3, 2011:
