One of the world’s most prolific hip-hop artists, 50 Cent, will be back in the UK to perform in the following arena’s:
19th March 2010 – LG Arena, Birmingham
20th March 2010 – Wembley Arena, London
25th March 2010 – MEN Arena, Manchester
He’ll be performing tracks from his latest album ‘Before I Self Destruct’ and all his smashes, like ‘In Da Club’, ‘If I Can’t’, ‘P.I.M.P.’ and ‘21 Questions’.
We’ve got 2 pairs of tickets to give away for the London date at the Wembley Arena.
First 2 people who answer this question in the comments section, win a pair of tickets each:
HOW MANY SOLO ALBUMS (ALBUMS! NOT MIXTAPES) HAS 50 CENT RELEASED?
ANSWER: 7. 50 Cent has released the following albums:
POWER OF THE DOLLAR
GUESS WHO’S BACK
GUESS WHO’S BACK AGAIN
GET RICH OR DIE TRYING
MASSACRE
CURTIS
BEFORE I SELF DESTRUCT
Contrary to popular belief, ‘Power Of the Dollar’ was released as an album, but it was a soft release, which means there was only a limited quantity on shelves.
It didn’t get the big push, but it was still released, and if you are a real 50 Cent fan, you will have a finished copy of ‘Power of the Dollar’, or may have even copped it at the time.
‘Guess Who’s Back’ was distributed via Full Clip/Land Speed.
According to a friend of mine who worked on the project, 50 Cent collected a bag of cash for the sales of this album on a weekly basis, which was distributed while he was negotiating a deal with various labels etc. This was to feed the demand, before the Shady/Aftermath deal was signed and sealed.
A photo shoot was done for the sleeve.
It was released in shrink wrapped Double vinyl.
It was stocked on record shelves across the world.
It had a release date.
The same goes for ‘Guess Who’s Back again’.
50 Cent has released 7 solo albums.
On majors, independently, via soft release, and via that big mainstream push that is Shady/Aftermath.
So who are the winners? Who got the right answer?
I AM LUCA
JACK
…..have won a pair of tickets each for 50 Cent Gig at Wembley.
Have fun.
