Remember these? This November sees the 20th Anniversary of one of the most iconic trainers of all time- the Reebok Pump.
Created in 1989 by Paul Litchfield and originally a basketball trainer, Pump had such impact that it’s unique technology was quickly used by Reebok for their tennis, running and football trainers. Pump’s bold and distinctive design meant that they were quickly adopted as a fashion trainer and have ever since stayed atop cult sneaker trends.
To commemorate the Anniversary, Reebok have joined forces with 20 of the globes foremost sneaker connoisseurs and invited them to develop their own limited edition Pump shoe.
The collaborators include Bodega, Colette, Patta, A.R.C. and, in the UK, leaders in sneaker style, Size?
Size?’s exclusive special edition Pump will be unveiled on November 19th. The limited production of only 31 pairs will be available from Size?, 17 Neal Street, Covent Garden, London at GMT 20.00.
To celebrate the occasion, Reebok’s Pump N Seek treasure hunt will give sneakerheads the chance to win some ultra cool and rare Pump goods, including a pair of next season’s bringback styles, some super limited edition Pump memorabilia and an invitation to the exclusive Pump 20 party, being held on the 19th in London.
Check us out later on today, I’m going to post some clues as to how you can win some of these treats from the good folk at Reebok.
More details on Pump N Seek can be found on Size? and extra clues, hints and cheats via Twitter.com/pumpupandairout.
