This was an amazing show! Nas, Damian, KRS, Ice Cube, and much more all on one stage. M.O.P., Slaughter House, and the RZA and more on another stage…..it was too much.
As good as it was, you’re probably aware of some drama that went down, even though I was there as the events unfolded I didn’t clock what was happening because I was putting in the work.
I’m not gonna lie, when I saw Rae and his boys walk into Joe’s dressing room, I thought ‘wow some Hip-Hop unity is going down’, even though they closed the door behind them on some gangsta sh*t.
I was with Rae straight after the alledged incident, and he was cool, like nothing had happened
I was with Murs and we joked about Crooked I turning with an entourage 100 deep, from Long Beach.
From that point onwards the atmosphere was a little tense backstage, and it was apparent that there was a bit of conflict in the air.
Moving on, I hope everyone works out there differences asap. A Wu-tang/SlaughterHouse collabo would be incredible. We don’t need this kind of f*ckery in Hip-Hop.
Despite this minor conflict, yesterday was a very good day! Big up Chang and the Guerilla Union for putting on the excellent tour that is Rock The Bells.

it was almost inevitable there was going to be some sort of altercation with budden & the wu affiliates, but i just hope everyone grows up & stop acting like idiots as this so called beef is benefitting no-one
Didn’t Rae say he wasn’t gettin involved, it was none of his business?? That didn’t last long…
Not a good look for Joey though.
Everyone on the net always sau “Wu-tang aint nothing to fuck with”….but seriously…crooked I and his Long beach mans don’t fuck around. I used to live in Cali and trust, Californians don’t play.
