DIZZEE RASCAL – HOLIDAY [VIDEO]

He’s done it again. This is easily a no.1 smash, from the forth-coming album ‘Tongue & Cheek’.

Big up Goldie!

Got to say, I don’t like it. His other smashes were great club crossover tracks … poppy but still original, and high quality … for this, it just sounds like he’s gone into a studio and intentionally tried to come up with a pop hit, and it just sounds weak. There’s nothing wrong with crossing over and being pop, but at least make it exciting. This is boring.

I completely agree with Chun Li. Holiday is nothing like Bonkers or Dance Wiv Me. It’s just an ok song.

I’m surprised people think this is a more sellout track than Dance Wiv Me and Happy Talk.

wow chun li u cant have heard it in the club this goes off obv not like bonkers does but when that bit kicks in at the end its chaos

this aint a sellout go check wiley and mark ronson for sellout

  5. Chun Li, July 27, 2009:

I didn’t say this is a sellout … I just said it was wack. I leave the sellout talk to the 12 year olds in the playground … I couldn’t give a damn how ‘real’ you are or how you make your money … I just don’t like the tune.

Me again … I just want to say that Dizz is a master and true genius … I just think he’s at his best when he shows his edge, pushing the envelope a bit … I don’t think this is doing that. Still love Dizz, though.

I like this song, I think its perfect for the summer, and I think that was his aim. Personally Calvin Harris should have kept this beat for himself, as its actually better than his own Ready For The Weekend single, but that has started to grow on me.

Oh yeah and Semtex, they deleted the video already!!!
