      The first person I told about J.Cole I told them he’s like Drake but… etc, etc.

      I think thats because they both represent a similar thing, really the first new generation of mc’s that aren’t in competition with Jay or Nas, but are the voice of the generation that grew off their music, and look like they’re true successors.
      I hear bare people say, “Drake’s like Jay Z and J.Cole’s like Nas” yeah… kind of. Basically from the point of view Drakes going for the commercial crown, while J.Cole’s more about “one mic”, that’s true, but both are totaly different, they’re both products of our time and its a different time.

      Yeah I hear you.

      I guess you can band them together as they are like you say the new generation, but thats as far as the comparison goes for me.

      Two totally different styles both unique to them which is nice, definitely looking forward to both their albums
