This was a very big day, I got there at 5pm in time to see Cudi tear it down. Everyone knew the words to ‘Sky Might Fall’, ‘Poke Her Face’, ‘Embrace the martian’, etc. Cudi was on top form, there’s no doubt he will be on the main stage next year.

Mr Hudson tore it down on his stage. Before he hit the stage, people were chanting his name. He jumped into the crowd on ‘Anyone But Him’, but he had to cut the crowd love short as someone was pinching his nipples.

I bumped into Oddisee at the Hudson stage…..

This was a big look, a lot of UK and U.S. artists in the same venue, one of the best festivals that I’ve been to in a while. A lot of UK and U.S. artists.

Q-tip tore it down on stage, but the day was owned by Kanye West.

Kanye didn’t steal the show or was just the headline act. He owned the entire day!

His new stage show is CRAZY!

I caught the show with Max, Chipmunk and Double S.

It was some legendary sh*t!

He performed the majority of 808′s & Heartbreak including a 7 minute version of ‘Say You Will’.

He could have bought Q-tip, Cudi, Hudson, or Jeezy on stage, but he didn’t. He did 70 minutes by himself, he’s got the best Hip-Hop stage show.

Like he does with all his shows, a lot of the tracks that you hear live sound totally different to live version. Extra drums, different arrangements, etc. Kanye is one of the few artists that changes the entire concept of a show with each tour.

It was a very big day, and a very big weekend! I don’t think the UK has seen anything like this before, where the UK artists get it in as much as the U.S. artists. I didn’t get to see all of the performances, but everyone held it down from what I was told.
