    i don’t mind the auto-tune at all.
    he knows how to use it.
    it’s that chorus.. it sounds so half ass.
    the chorus in the live version sounded so much better.

    this is pretty wack. Kanye can’t sing and that autotunes played out. This isnt any better than Sexual Seduction just cause its Kanye. Andre 3000 can sing, Kanye can’t, simple as.

    This isn’t anything new, T Pain and a bunch of others have been doing it for a while now, hell this was a technique pionered ages ago. Hes better of sampling old hits…

    As an artist, you wanna try something different after a while, or briefly change direction. If he was still making “College Dropout” era music, I’m pretty sure we would have gotten tired of it by now (not to say I’m tired of the album in general – “Get em High” is a jam!).

    The fact that “Graduation” introduced more of an electronic/eclectic sound was refreshing.

    I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what Ye comes with this time.

    Stick to the rap music. Ye ain’t as talented as Andre three stacks on the mic, this might well be his love below par. I think he would have actually sounded better on this beat if he just used his normal voice, even the production ain’t as tight as what we are used to. Not sure where he is going with this, but I do have faith in this album, he will come correct.

    i think peeps in the uk jock Kanye far too much. Everyone mocked Snoop for Sexual Seduction but as soon as Kanye starts doing the singing everyones like ‘kanye pushes so many boundaries blah blah blah’. Hes a hot producer and got 3 good albums, the first being a classic. But he aint as great as yall hype him up to be, hell id take Lupe and Common over him any day.

    Love Lockdown had potential but that potential was lost completely when Kanye decided to sing himself instead of giving it to someone like John Legend (whose album sucks btw). I talk a bit more about it on my blog, but I’ve just had enough of Kanye.
